England speaks its mind on Gordon Brow and the future of banking
One just needs to check the comments on this article: Gordon Brown in peril to see why Britain is facing the summer of rage (actually that's funny France too!), the French Islands have already beaten the French to it and are starting protest season early (due to favorable climatic conditions and atrocious economic conditions). It's not too late to start your own protest locally, the global situation calls for de-centralised action.
The biggest swindle in history..
As great reporters come.. It has become so bad that we can now accurately predict what stories will not see the light of day while we are inundated with showbiz galore & people willingly hurting themselves on You Tube for a shot at their 15 minutes of cyber-stardom.
Check Whitenoise for some of the best reporting on the America Inc. criminals.
But here is the greatest swindle in history.

U.S.A. A Third World Country?

The U.S is set to join the third world economies according to this article.
But really, there are places where the ancestral cultures still survive and where the people live decent lives even with a very low GDP, an example of this is the Republic of Central Africa (see list of poorest countries), although people living there might be classed as some of the poorest on earth, being hunter gatherers and rural dwellers, they live in a sustainable way, don't have much of a government or justice system (apart from special tribal gatherings) and don't consume and pollute like we do, they know that man is not that different from an animal, it is tied to its environment and its decline means death, something we should learn before we judge a nation on the statistics and G.D.P, what matters is happiness, culture and sustainability not dollars.

Oaxaca, Mexico
In defense of their lands and ancestral territory, the indigenous people of Oaxaca (Mexico) published an international press release outlining the problems they are facing. Like many indigenous tribes in South America and around the world as well as the native American tribes who populated North America for thousands of years before being exterminated, they are seeing multinational companies and the army work hand in hand to evict them and seize their ancestral lands.
It is time for this tradition of economic colonialism and destruction of the earth for profit to cease. As Europeans, we must act to defend their rights together with ours, which are under growing threat from a technocratic and profit driven consensus led by the western world (United Nations=World Company).
Read more on Indigenous Peoples' Resistance to Economic Globalization by Jerry Mander. A quote from his Article: "The very reason that native people have become such targets for corporate resource exploration is exactly because indigenous peoples have been so successful over millennia in maintaining traditions, cultures, economies, philosophies and practices that are not built upon some ideology of rapid expansion, economic growth or short-term profit-seeking or the gaining of individual personal wealth.
Generally speaking, intact indigenous cultures have not sought to mine every last square inch of the natural world where they live; nor do they ship mountains of resources like logs or oil across oceans to foreign markets. Indigenous peoples, even when generally very different from each other, have all tended toward philosophies and economic formulas that include such primary values as these:
The central importance of community values, collective ownership, collective governance, above individualistic values and personal acquisition;
Integration, rather than alienation from the natural world;
Reciprocal relations with nature, economies of limits and balance."
